Cool Clubs’ wedge fitting covers an assessment of your personal wedge game to discover what shots ‘you’ play when playing under regular course conditions.
Turf interaction is also considered during any iron fitting. Thats why all our wedge fittings occur off grass, on the range.
We look at bounce, loft gapping, sole design and shaft recommendation taking into account full shots through to bunker play and short chipping.

Hitting From Grass
We conduct a large part of the wedge fitting outdoors using premium golf balls. Here we assess turf interaction, bunker shots and chipping from different style lies.
You will not only be fit for the correct wedges but have a better understanding of your short game.
Fitting Process
Cool Clubs maintains a broad selection of wedges that allow us to narrow in on the right combination of design, gapping, loft and bounce to fit your swing and give you the right options on the course.
What to Bring
When you come for any fitting at Cool Clubs be sure to bring all your golf clubs, golf shoes and your glove. Wear clothes that you normally golf in and be prepared to have a good time.
Wedge Customization
Cool Clubs can modify wedges from cosmetic changes like stamping, finish and paint to functional changes such as custom grinds.
Talk to your fitter to determine if there is anything you would like to customise.
Our club fitting process employs exclusive software and technology available only at Cool Clubs.
Terms and Conditions
Cancellation Terms – Fitting Sessions
Cancellations notified more than 24 hours prior to a fitting appointment:
- fitting appointment can be rescheduled and payment already made will transfer to the rescheduled appointment; or
- fee is fully refundable
Cancellations notified less than 24 hours prior to a fitting appointment:
- fitting appointment can be rescheduled and payment already made will transfer to the rescheduled appointment
- fitting fee will be charged and is non-refundable
Payment Terms
Club fitting sessions booked through a Cool Clubs representative must be paid for prior to commencing the fitting session. (NB: Cancellation Terms apply, refer above).
All repairs once completed must be paid for at the time you collect your golf club or clubs.
Goods
All orders for clubs must be paid for at the time of placing an order. We cannot commence building bespoke clubs until payment has been received.
In the event of any dispute arising it will be dealt with under Queensland jurisdiction and relevant legislation.
