This clients PXG combo is a long way from the Taylor Made Rac CB irons purchased well over a decade ago. His trusty Rac irons were very long and heavy (39 inch 6 iron) going from a swing weight of D9 to E2. Wow!
Our goals were to find an optimal performing product with the sleek blade like appearance that he had become accustomed to, softer feel off the face and more forgiveness without losing the ability to shape the ball if required.
The PXG Gen 2, T model delivered all those characteristics, with slightly increased ball speed and a similar land angle, so not to compromise stopping power on the firmer surfaces in south east QLD.
